I had gastric bypass 11 years ago and a leaky gut. they did surgery to clean me out. still wasn't healing did a scope and have a very large ulcer. going to take 1/2 of stomach out. how or what are my chances of making it. started at 400 lbs. now 131?

There are 2 different issues: 1. Is to survive surgery and usually a medical assessment is done prior to surgery and 2. Medium to long term recovery through proper nutrition and ability to absorb nutrients. Connecting with your primary care doc as soon as possible following surgery may help in further management.
