Positive Mono: This is a test result that is positive for the virus called ebv- epstein barr virus, also called mononucleosis- the patient should be seen by a doctor, the spleen should be checked. If the spleen is enlarged, the patient should not be allowed to play in contact sports until the spleen returns to normal size.
