IgG and IgM: Igm is the early antibody a baby makes when exposed to cmv. It is short lived in the body usuaaly less than 6 months to a year. During this 6 month to one yr the body makes life long immunity antibody igg in the first six months of life the baby may have materal igg that passed thru the placenta.
