Yes: If the extracted tooth in the back bottom , the area around the tooth socket gets a little sore, and with the contractions of your throat during swallowing that could hurts pulling on the borders of the extracted tooth socket.

Possible infection: Some times after an extraction, the area or surrounding area of the extraction can become infected and spread to the glands of the throat. A dentist should be able to examine you and quickly tell if you need an antibiotic.
