No: The two things are probably unrelated. Sounds like your just getting a cold. If your symptoms worsen consult with your dentist and medical doctor.

No: Probably just a coincidence. If you were run down and not taking good care of yourself, the additional stress of the extraction may have predisposed you to getting sick.
