Cough drop or any solutions to rinse with are fine. Don't bite on cough drops to prevent particles from getting into extraction site. Keep area clean and follow post operative instructions.

Probably will not interfere with healing, but do not chew on it. Let it dissolve slowly until all gone. Soreness is to be expected post surgery of any sort. Might be better off taking the analgesics directed by your surgeon.
