Check other infectns: 6 days of high fever is worrisome and a thorough investigation is warranted. Many possible explanations are likely, ranging from, most commonly, infectious causes (urinary tract?, kawasaki?, etc) to inflamatory, autoimmune or other even more rare and infrecuent causes that your doctor should be able to determine.
