Upper back pain: Mri of spine tells nothing. Cxr is useless unless it shows an infiltrate for a pneumonia or not. Right upper back could be referred pain from the gall bladder or liver, even the esophagus or abdomen. You are at the perfect age for any of these issues and i wonder if anyone has evaluated you with a trial of twice daily acid reducer or barium swallow or any further testing like liver function, etc..
