Probably stable now: After 13 months, the eyes should have fully healed following lasik, and the dry eye problems should have also improved. There may be residual refractive error and an enhancement procedure might be necessary. It is also possible that eyes themselves may have changed some in that time period, which would also be treatable with a procedure. You should have the eyes checked to get a diagnosis and plan.

Most likely: Your dry eye will likely continue to improve and resolve. In the meantime, continue frequent artificial tears, ointment at night, warm compresses, and omega-3 fatty acid supplements. You may want to have punctal plugs placed to speed your recovery.

Probably: Persistence may indicate the presence of other secondary external eye disease and require other treatment. You should be re-evaluated by the surgeon in this regard.
