A member asked:

Is the atkins diet recommended for someone who is lactose intolerant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Please read the book. It is not a prescription for all you can eat in one catagory. Dr. Adkins collected and promoted the research which helped many people stay with the diet and achieve long term success. There is no reason to fail simply because of lactose intolerance.
