Take your meds: You feel rotten because you probably have very little thyroid hormone in your system now hypothyroidism means your thyroid is not doing it's job. You need to take the medication continuously. Thyroid hormone is slow to break down. ( it has a long half life) so you don't notice anything when you stop the medication for a few days . After a few weeks you do notice the symptoms.

Hypothyroidism : If you have hypothyroidism it's best to take your medication regularly and not stop it otherwise you'll feel tired lethargic etc since you don't have enough thyroid hormone based on the diagnosis. Why did you stop taking it?

Take meds: Medications are like meals. Just because you ate lunch yesterday does not mean you do not need to eat lunch today.
If the medications are necessary, you need to stay on them.
