I have been in 3 major car accidents over last few years i was in hospital for over a week, was in a medically induced coma for 2 days from 3rd.. i am in pain in my back/neck and muscle ache, was on oxy, didn't work well. wondering if soma could help?

If oxycontin fails to relieve your pain, using SOMA as a muscle relaxant is less likely effective for your pain but you can give it a try.

Cannot recommend Soma, as it metabolizes to Miltown, a drug of abuse, years ago, and this cannot be taken with narcotic analgesics (also, develops rapid tolerance). Far better would be physical therapy and exercise. Find a physiatrist and enter an updated rehab program.
