I take lithium so i cant take general anti inflammatories. would i be able to take turmeric or cinnamon or another natural anti inflammatory? i take septic guard everyday but my glands are still swollen and sore a week after a purmycin course.

Lithium is a very difficult drug to control especially when you are taking other medications and supplements. In general any supplement that can affect the kidney, your fluid balance or clotting mechanism could affect your lithium level. Before adding any medication or supplement please contact and consult your doctor who prescribes the lithium before starting a new medication or supplement.
