How does my job stress effect my sleep?

Several ways: You may sleep too much to avoid thinking of the job, or be unable to sleep because you are thinking too much about your job. Your sleep may become fitful and punctuated by bad dreams or awakenings several times a night. For no obvious reasons anxiety or panic attacks can occur in the middle of the night, waking you up. Nightmares are not all that common in adults so that's not likely to occur.
