Insomnia: Visit your primary care physician for workup to find the cause of lack of sleep & treat that. Also, sleep hygiene techniques help if u r stressed out, as well as seeing a therapist to work on stress management.

Insomnia: There is acute insomnia or chronic insomnia, acute insomnia is less than 3 months and chronic is more than 3 to 6 months please identify the stressor that caused this, it could be move to a different time zone, financial, relation stress etc. Google sleep hygiene you may need short term meds like ambien cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia works best according to studies.

First lets address : Your stress. Talk about feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine ; alcohol (or moderate). Try qi gong, tai chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, yoga, exercise program, deep breathing exercises or progressive muscle relaxation. Now, lets.
