I've had pvcs as many as 5 times per minute for 3 days straight, but my doctor is not concerned. is this normal?

Depends-: Pvc's, in and of themselves, are not dangerous if they are solitary (not a group in a row, known as ventricular tachycardia), and if the heart function is normal. This is crucial, because pvc's with normal heart function are usually benign, however pvc's with abnormal heart function can be something more serious. Speak with your doctor about it before taking any advice on the internet.
