It depends: PVCs are found in normal and abnormal hearts. Up to 80% of healthy people may have PVCs if you watch them long enough. They can also be seen in people with abnormal heart and certain characteristics of PVCs may be associated with abnormal heart (how many PVCs, how the PVCs ‘look’ on ECG). Patients with symptoms and PVCs may also indicate an abnormal heart but not always
