Bleeding hemorrhoid: Hemorrhoids can bleed as long as they are being irritated/abraded by hard stools or frequent stools or straining to have a bowel movement. Use stool softener (not laxative) &/or increased dietary fiber or fiber supplement with plenty of fluid. Use otc hemorrhoid preps to help shrink & calm inflammation of hemorrhoids. If bleeding persists, see doc again.
