Fever : Fever after surgery can be caused by a long list of reasons. I would advise you to go back and see the surgeon at your earliest convenience.

It : It is definitely not normal to have a fever for two consecutive weeks after gallbladder surgery. There are many different possible causes of post-op fever--your surgeon is in the best position to determine this since he knows details about your medical history, operative findings, and current physical examination. If your fever and abdominal pain persists, you need to return to see your surgeon this week. At the very least, he may want to do some blood tests to check for an elevated white blood cell count and/or check your liver enzymes. I hope that you start to feel better soon.
