Location of Symptoms: The location of the symptoms is in the region of the stomach and pancreas. Would be good to try and figure out when/why symptoms are arising and see if there is a consistent trigger for them (eg. Does it get worse/better when you eat?). In general a loss of appetite and consistent pain warrant an evaluation with doctor.

Could be hernia: On the left side of your navel is your colon, stomach, a ureter, and a kidney. You could also have a hernia around your navel. A visit to your doc, who can tell alot by a hands on exam of your abdomen is the first step. From there, an ultrasound may be ordered. If you develop a fever, vomiting, blood in stool you should go sooner to your doc.
