Call your surgeon: Cough & deep breath and walk around a lot as low grade fever after surgery is most often from the lungs & resting too much. Do not smoke. It would be more concerning if the fever is consistent, getting higher & associated with increasing abdominal pain, nausea & vomitiing, yellow jaundice. Call your surgeon to ask.

Call your doctor: You should not have a fever at this point after surgery. It may or may not be a problem. Check with your surgeon.
