Well, that can: Be tough. The concern is that the uterus is red because of inflammation. In such case u would likely be in pain. I do not want to say disregard and be wrong but a laparoscopic external view of the uterus, interpreting it to be "kind of red" is not something i would tell a patient. I may ask if she had pain, if not, unless there was an obvious infection, it's just enough to cause worry. Gd luc.

Probably normal: Although it can't be said for sure, this is probably normal. If the surgeon imaged the uterus, the image could be reviewed by a gynecologist. A pelvic infection involving the uterus may change the color of the uterus to a more red look. That can be evaluated with cultures.
