Vomiting, fever: The presence of fever is more consistent with a viral intestinal tract infection rather than indigestion, food intolerance or simple delayed stomach emptying. Rest up. Take adequate fluids and flat ginger ale, eat a light, fat free diet, Take acetomenophen as needed. Get examined if persistent vomiting, abdominal pain and/or tenderness or continuing fever.
