Sorry : Sorry to hear about your problem. The antibiotics can take a day to really start working, so you need to give them some time. My concern is that you have not stopped swelling. It could be that you may need a different antibiotic, or the abscess my need to be drained to help the antibiotics fight off the infection. The best thing is to see the oral surgeon today, but if that is not possible, you need to go back to the emergency room to be reevaluated.

It : It can take 24 to 36 hours to see any benefit from the antibiotics so it is not surprising that the swelling is increasing. My recommendation is to try to move up your appointment with the oral surgeon, of find another one to take you quicker because once a dental infection leaves the confines of the jaw and extends into the soft tissues, especially in the back of the mouth, floor of mouth, or under the jaw, it can progress quickly into a life-threatening emergency. Immediate care is indicated to remove the source of the infection, such as a root canal or extraction, and to manage the abscess with surgical drainage.

Visit a dentist: Antibiotics and pain meds wont fix the problem, only buy some time. Swelling will get worse. Maybe you need a root canal. Make an urgent appt. If swelling gets very bad go to the er.
