Depends.: You need to get your resting metabolism rate checked to see what your rate is. This guideline of everyone eating 2000cal has caused tremendous problems. I check resting rates and most women are between 1100-1500calories (men are 1400-1900) and in the right weight range! so customize this to get the right info especially if you have a weight problem.

Repeat the test: Sometimes it takes up to a weeks for the urine test to turn +. If you feel pregnant and continue to have a negative urine test i suggest that you have the more definitive blood test.

The flu?: The symptoms indicate your body is fighting off some nasty infection. Serious and treatable infections need to be excluded. If none found, most likely it is viral flu.

Unlikely to help: If you do not want medication , try not eat too much meat especially red meat , shell fish, avoid alcohol and drink plenty of water. Elevated uric acid is a bad metabolic disease not just painful gout, it will damage blood vessels including coronaries, best advice take medication.

Sounds like virus: Sounds like a viral "enteritis" - basically a "stomach flu". Viral gastrointestinal infections can not only be tedious to get through, they can also be quite serious in a small child. With symptoms of that duration in a 2 y/o you may need to get reassurance from a pediatrician or urgent care doctor that he/she is staying hydrated enough (as 2 y/o's don't have much reserve). Hope this helps!
