Good question: That is a good question and one that has been discussed for years. No one knows for sure and it may be multifactorial. Women grow very quickly during puberty, when curves typically worsen and that is thought to play a part. The hormonal differences between men and women and their greater tendency to have ligamentous laxity may also play a part. Thank you for your question.
