Costs : Costs vary a lot depending on the region of the country, surgeon experience and type of anesthesia planned. More expensive doesn't necessarily mean better results, so do your research.

Many factors: The cost of liposuction will vary depending on a number of factors. These include surgeon's fees, facility fees, and anesthesia fees. If it is performed in a hospital or outpatient setting, there can be added fees and the type anesthesia[ general anesthesia requires an anesthesiologist] can add fees. The most expensive isn't always the best.

Amount of work: Cost has to do with your surgeon's experience, technique used, facility, anesthesia and amount of time needed to achieve the result. So it could be different from patient to patient and surgeon to surgeon.

Many Variables: My colleagues have listed some of the variables. There are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the american board of plastic surgery.  I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more in many ways.
