I : I don;t mean to sound flippant, but some dentists say it is better to have longer teeth then teeth no longer. That is to say that to decrease pockets we often lower the gum line in order to create an environment easier to keep clean and less pocket depth.

No. : No. The idea of the gum treatment was to reduce the size of the inflamed gums. Sorry. You now have what we unfortunately call 'black triangle disease.'.
