You should follow your dentist's recommendation. If you have calculus accretions and have not had a professional dental cleaning for a few years, you need a deep cleaning. At your age you should not have receding gums.

You seem to have too many problems at your age, so its best you see a periodontist for treatment. If you are under stress, anxiety, and on medications, that may be the reason, or are you using a hard toothbrush? Have your small decay fixed now before it gets larger. Don't try to treat yourself, see a specialist.

You have a cavity and gum recession. Neither of which is self-healing or will respond to "another cleaning way." Please, a miracle is around the corner. It's called competent professional dental care. Obviously your current routine is ineffective. See a professional. His/her 10,000+ hours of training and lifetime of experience trumps your 10 minute google search.
