In : In short, no. Blepharoplasty will not change the shape or placement of your brows. Find an eyelid expert near you at www.Asoprs.Org and get a consultation to get all your questions answered in detail.

Blepharoplasty : Blepharoplasty would affect the eyelids themselves, but shouldn't change the eyebrows. Brow lift surgery can be done (along with blepharoplasty) to change your brow position. Check out my links below for more information about both types of surgery. Visiting with a facial plastic surgeon or oculoplastic surgeon with experience in this area would allow for a better assessment of what type of surgery would be best for you.

No.: If the upper blepharoplasty is done correctly, the idea is to take out the extra upper eyelid skin that is redundant, but not to take out so much that the position of the eyebrow itself is pulled down. That would be a sign of an overly-aggressive approach, and is not recommended. Best to see an expert plastic surgeon or oculoplastic surgeon. Both fields share this area of expertise.

Blepharoplasty: Your eyebrows can be adjusted at the same time as your blepharoplasty. The two procedures go hand in hand in rejuvenating the orbital complex. Have your eyelids evaluated by a board certified surgeon with expertise in these procedures.

Not usually but can: In most instances an upper lid blepharoplasty will not change the shape of your eyebrow. On occasion a person with marked upper eyelid skin who undergoes an upper lid blepharoplasty may experience very subtle pulling downwards of the brow. This can be treated with a transblepharoplasty brow pexy in which the eyebrow is secured in place or slightly elevated through the blepharoplasty incision.
