You : You should have a hearing test or audiogram soon to determine the type of hearing loss. Also an examination by an otolaryngologist will determine if you have fluid behind the ear drum that is contributing to your problem. The causes can range from a simple otitis media to a sudden hearing loss, and this does need to be evaluated further.
