If : If you have cavities, it is very important to visit your dentist. Bear in mind that the second layer of the tooth (dentin) is softer than the enamel which is stronger than bone. An open cavity makes the tooth susceptible to get damaged due to the bacteria, food debris.., and acid that can liquefy the inside of your tooth and can later communicate to the pulp (nerve). Don't see your dentist when you are in pain. If you are concerned with the cost, make your phone call now before your bill cost 5 times or more than a simple filling or cleaning. A doctor cannot diagnose you properly without checking you clinically and through x-rays. From there, your doc can present you the cost and offer payment plans. Please don't wait till you have pain and no other alternative but to pay big bucks in order to get a relief.

The : The only way for you to get an accurate cost estimate is to visit a dentist and have them do a comprehensive exam and treatment plan. Many dentists will tell you the cost of this first visit on the phone so you can be financially prepared for payment.
