Clearance: The Dentist or specialist Periodontist who did your deep cleaning should reevaluate you and clear you for Orthodontic care. Depending on pre-treatment findings, 2 weeks-3 months. As you have extant periodontal disease (otherwise a deep cleaning would not have been necessary) I would recommend Ortho Rx by a specialist Orthodontist, and alternating 3 month cleanings between GP & Periodontist.
