About twice a week, when i eat protein it gets stuck about half way down my esophagus. it is very painful. what is happening? i either have to wait for it to slowly make it's way down, as i feel the muscle contractions, or throw up.

Your : Your symptoms are concerning for an esophageal stricture, which means a narrowing of your esophagus. This can happen for no reason or sometimes can be caused by another condition. It is very important that you have evaluation for this, and possibly an endoscopy, which is a test where you are sedated and a physician looks into your esophagus with a scope, in order to make the diagnosis.
