Anxiety Tx: Cognitive behavior therapy along with medications is most helpful. There are several anxiety medications that have little, if any, effect on the heart. Discuss with your doc.

Depends: There is no "best" medicine for panic attacks. Panic attacks can be treated with therapy or medications (or both). Usually of the medications, antidepressants called ssris (like zoloft (sertraline) and prozac) and sedatives (like klonopin) are the most useful. But to choose what's best for you, you should consult a physician.
