See lung specialist: Persistent cough w what sounds like pleuritic chest pain and failure of simple treatment suggests a need or additional imaging (chest xr or ct), with more intensive w/u. Localizing to right side can focus attention there. Blurred vision can sometimes ooccur after a violent coughing fit.

Viral: Some viral pneumonia s/ and bacterial secondary pneumonias can have pleurisy and tender chest wall until fully recovered . One can also traumatize chest wall, including rib fractures with coughing severely. Get well! may need followup x-ray to be sure cleared. This season has had some bad bugs!
