How long should it take for the front teeth to regrow for an 8 year old?

Depends: Every patient is different. It can take months to years for the adult front teeth to erupt. However i recommend that your 8 year old be followed by a pediatric dentist or a very knowledgeable dentist that have pediatric dentistry experience. Lots of tooth eruption or bite problems can be easily corrected or prevented at a young age.

A few weeks: Typically after a baby tooth falls out the permanent one will erupt within a few weeks. If permanent teeth are lost, they do not regrow. Take your 8 year old for a checkup if it is taking a long time for a tooth to come in. It may be a sign that they need to see an orthodontist.

About a month: 3 to 4 weeks is pretty normal but I have seen much longer than that. It's usually not anything to worry about buy your dentist should be happy to check if you're concerned about it.
