Possibly: There are cases where a toothache may be caused by a low-grade infection near the tooth or in the tooth. In those cases, an antibiotic such as Amoxicillin could temporarily make the tooth feel better. Whether the Amoxicillin makes the tooth feel better, a consultation with a dentist is indicated.

Amoxicillin: If the tooth is infected, and the bacteria is susceptable to amoxicillin, the the tooth will feelt better temporarily if the proper dosage of Amoxicillin is taken.
