Hi i have a toothache and was wondering if i should take amoxicillin?

Why ?: Why would you take an antibiotic if you don't even know if you are infected? All toothaches are not due to infection. Even if you were infected, the antibiotic would not solve your problem, just prolong your agony. Please see a local dentist for care before the pain and infection escalates.
