Not necessarily: Try to figure out why you are depressed and anxious. Think about school, how you are dealing with teachers, homework, grades, etc. Also think about your social life, your relationship with your parents, friends sometimes working thru the issues is better than making a change. Sometimes the emotional symptoms are a message that change is needed. Take time to think it thru. See a counselor too.

Whoa, slow down!: You're depressed and anxious (a&d) , right? But you are asking about an escape, a symptom of a&d! does the school environment worsen your a&d? Have you been properly diagnosed? Have you had treatment? Are you being bullied? There are thousands of questions to ask before answering yours. Please talk with your parents and see your doctor to discuss this.

Depends on…: Whether you're happy with current school or whether it's part of the anxiety-depression. Suggest speak with guidance counsellor &/or fp to determine roots of problem to help alleviate/remove them. Medication may be necessary for a while. If u feel attracted to a different school, make the transition at an appropriate time, but remember such a change can add stress. Seek help. Good luck.
