Unlikely, however...: Repeated purging, which brings the acidic content of your stomach into your mouth. It will not only hurt your esophagus but will progressively eat away at the enamel of your teeth . Once the enamel is injured, it makes getting cavities much more likely.

Possibly: Purging brings the equivelent of battery acid against the inside of the upper front teeth and it can wear the enamel..Sometimes rather quickly. It is something we were taught to look for in dental school.

Possibly: Hydrochloric acid from your stomach will slough off the top mucosal skin layers from your throat and soft palate, causing redness and inflammation. This may or may not be visible depending on timing between episodes and when you are seen. Over time the acid will erode and wear your enamel down irreversibly. Please seek counseling if you havent already.
