Yes: Usually the numbness will last from the anesthetic for approx. 6-8 hours. There can be some residual numbness for a few days-1 week. If after 1 week, the feeling has not returned, you need to see your doctor.

See below. : Depending on the time that has expired since the procedure or how many injections it took to numb the toe often this is a common finding. Most resolve with time. It is referred to as a temporary neuropraxia and may require your doctor to inject your toe with a steroid if improvement isn't noted within weeks after.
