Not unusual: In the case you describe drainage may go on for several weeks, but it also depends on how it was treated.

Depends: On type of toenail surgery performed. If chemical cauterization was used, then drainage is common. This can last for a few days or a couple of weeks. Either way, discuss with your doctor who performed procedure to get correct treatment if needed.

Draining: It does depend on the procedure , but the most common is phenol matrixectomy which has drainage associated with it. As said , see your surgeon for any and all questions.
