A nerve block : Should show a progressive dissipation until it is gone. It should not recur or deepen and certainly shouldn't increase its depth with position. You should ask your doctor to evaluate you for other causes.

See below: This numbness is quite possible in the immediate post-operative period (a few days after surgery) but should not last long. If this condition persists talk to your anesthesiologist or surgeon.

Thigh : As stated , local anesthesia dissipates rapidly with time. It is possible that you have a spinal stenosis causing the numbness. See your surgeon or neurologist or anesthesiologist.
