Must find out cause.: Any 'extreme' abdominal pain needs to be explained. When associated with a high wbc, then it may mean an infection, or some form of leukemia or lymphoma (which often starts in the stomach). An internist or gastroenterologist should be able to make a diagnosis: a very detailed history and careful physical exam by an experienced clinician should determine the next step.
