I have a vein slightly sticking out my upper right side flank/breast for 4 months. it occurred at the same time as my costochondritis. it causes mild pain/discomfort. chest ct scan & ultrasound of vein normal. any ideas why my vein is poking out?

If you have any respiratory symptoms,such as shortness of breath or decreased exercise tolerance, please see a Cardiologist. Malformation of the vessels may also be evaluated by MRI. Watch for signs of chest pain around the vein, syncope and dizziness.
