8 months ago i got a perforated eardrum. i lost some hearing and the hole was large. can get an idea as to if it's healed before my follow up exam?

Ruptured eardrum: You might have an idea if you are hearing better now, but there is no real way to know without looking or testing with an audiologist. If there is drainage or persistant hearing loss, then there is likely a perforation present. Good that you area getting checked out. If it needs repair you will see an ENT and will need a hearing test (should get one anyway with a history of trauma). Take care.
