2 questions: If you can blow smoke out of your ears (like a carnival act) you have a hole in your ear. To verify it a simple exam will see it. The hole itself can drop your hearing sensitivity a small degree depending on the size of the hole. We actually put tubes (with holes) in toddler ears all the time to improve their hearing.
