Gp said 'small' eardrum perf. but i can't hear. recently flew but prob did more damage myself trying to unclog after flying. fully plugged up and draining. was put on ammox and claritin. norm to have this much hearing loss with a small perforation?

Small perforations have little effect on hearing. If you have experienced significant hearing loss I would seek out an evaluation by an ENT to see if this was something that needed an urgent fix. It may just take a while to improve but it deserved more study.
