Should i undergo voluntary binocular diplopia?

Clarify please: Diplopia is a symptom. It can be voluntary, if one crosses eyes. I am not sure if i understand the question - do you mean to ask if you should undergo some type of corrective surgical procedure for diplopia? Please clarify.
